Can We Talk About This? is DV8’s new project.
I managed to see this today for a mere £5. It was very entertaining - not in a ‘haha’ kind of way, but in a way that was thought-provoking and interesting. Physical theatre is not something I get the chance to see nearly as often as I’d like, and whilst I’m not attempting to say anything about my politics by posting this video on my blog I have become more informed on these matters. However, I still am unclear on my views.
Theatre itself is something that I have missed during my first year at university. Today’s performance by DV8 is the first I’ve seen here. I feel almost like I need to apologise for not taking full advantage of the immense wealth of culture available to me in this city. I can tell you, in September, that will change. I’m used to the place now, I know my way around, and have more courage in trying new places or activities.
If you get the opportunity to see the play, wherever you are, I would recommend it. It only lasts 1 hr 20 mins, and is well worth it.
